Arrival & Departure

Check-In: Your room will be ready for your arrival starting at 3:00 pm. To ensure a personalized welcome, please share your estimated arrival time with us. We are delighted to accommodate early arrivals or late-evening check-ins whenever possible with prior arrangement. Check-Out: To allow our team the time required to prepare our historic rooms to our exacting standards, we kindly request departure by 11:00 am.

The Culinary Experience

Signature Breakfast: Experience a complimentary curated breakfast featuring seasonal produce. Breakfast is traditionally served in the Dining Room from 8:30 am, though we are happy to adjust timing if necessary.

An Exclusive Sanctuary

Privacy & Capacity: To maintain the estate’s atmosphere of quiet sophistication, each room is designed as a private retreat for a maximum of two guests (ages 12 and older). Discretion: To ensure total privacy and security for our residents, the house and estate remain an exclusive enclave reserved strictly for registered guests.

Reservation Policies

We offer two tailored rate structures to suit your travel preferences:

• The Flexible Rate: Offers total peace of mind. Cancellations made 48 hours prior to arrival incur no charge.

• The Stay Another Day Rate: A preferential rate for confirmed itineraries, requiring a 25% deposit at the time of booking.

As a boutique heritage property, our cancellation policies are firm to ensure the continuity of our service. We highly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for unexpected changes to your itinerary.

Property Considerations

• Heritage Preservation: As the Bailey House Inn is a registered provincial heritage property featuring 300-year-old original furnishings, we appreciate your stewardship in maintaining the integrity of the interiors during your stay.

• Connectivity: While we have chosen to omit televisions to preserve the historic ambiance, the estate is equipped with high-speed WiFi and bedside charging points for your convenience.

• Accessibility: In keeping with the original Georgian architecture, access to the rooms requires the use of stairs. Our team is available to assist with luggage upon your arrival.

• Sustainability: For guests arriving via electric vehicle, a Level-2 charging station is available just a short stroll from the main entrance.

• Environment: The house and grounds remain strictly smoke-free.

Information Collection
Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at the Bailey House. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation. All identifiable information provided will not be disclosed to anyone unless we are specifically requested to do so. The Bailey House does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site.

We sometimes use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain pages of the Site to measure effectiveness and safety. A “cookie” is a small file that gets placed on your hard-drive that helps us provide our services. You are free to decline cookies if you choose to.

At the Bailey House, we take security seriously. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safeguard it online and offline.

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
