Our two waterfront rooms are approximately 260 sq ft and feature Stearns & Foster mattresses. The garden rooms are approximately 240 sq ft.
During Your Stay
Guests have access throughout the day to a refrigerator and Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. Bottled mineral water is provided in each room on arrival. Ice and glassware are available, along with Fulton umbrellas for guest use. Secure luggage and golf club storage available. An iron and ironing board can be provided on request.

Arrival & Departure
Rooms are ready from 3:00 pm and check in is until 11 pm. We ask guests to let us know their expected arrival time so that we can be here to welcome them.
Free parking is available. Guests usually park on the quiet street directly in front of the house; private off-site parking is also available when needed.
Check-out is by 10:30 am.
Breakfast
Join us in the dining room for breakfast from 8:30 a.m. With its 300-year-old table, original 17th and 18th century art, and views across the Annapolis Basin, it’s a lovely place to begin the day. On cooler mornings, the fireplace takes the chill off.
We favour seasonal ingredients, seeking out locally made cheeses and selections from our local butcher whenever possible. Drawing inspiration from Mi’kmaw, Acadian and Nova Scotian food traditions, breakfast offers a taste of the place you’ve come to explore.
Guests
Each room accommodates a maximum of two guests. Bailey House welcomes guests aged 18 and older.
The house and waterfront garden are reserved for registered guests.
Reservations
Cancellations may be made without charge up to 48 hours before arrival. After that time, the cancellation fee is the cost of the stay.
The House
Bailey House is a registered provincial heritage property, and many of its antiques and furnishings are in everyday use. We ask guests to treat them with the same care they would in a private home.
Guest rooms are on the second floor and are reached by stairs. We are happy to assist with luggage on arrival and departure.
There are no televisions in the guest rooms. High-speed Wi-Fi and bedside charging points are provided.
A Level 2 EV charging station is available a short walk from the entrance.
The house and grounds are smoke-free.
Air conditioning is provided from July through August. Although overnight lows average around 55°F during these months, warm spells do occur. In June and September, lows average around 50°F, making open windows and fresh air from the Annapolis Basin a comfortable choice. Providing air conditioning seasonally helps preserve the character of the Georgian house.
