Historic Annapolis Royal
A small town. A world to discover.
Along the Annapolis Basin, a small Nova Scotia town opens into gardens, galleries, historic houses and good places to eat.
Called “Canada’s Oldest Town” and the “Cradle of the Nation,” Annapolis Royal served as the capital of French Acadia and later British Nova Scotia for much of the period from 1605 to 1749, when Halifax was founded.
Walk the waterfront. Follow a garden path. Stay for dinner, and then stay a little longer. The pleasure is in having time.
