The Coach House
The Coach House is the newest accommodation at the Bailey House – the only guest house on the water in Annapolis Royal. The Coach House is a luxurious space in a private setting nestled in the back English gardens.
This detached guest house is designed to meet a growing trend in travellers which sees couples travelling together, adult children travelling with their parents, and friends travelling together but requiring their own private bed room. The Coach House meets all of these needs.
The 650 square foot (60 square metre) quaint building is a two storey space with two bedrooms – one on each floor. The upstairs is one large bed/sitting room (300 square foot/28 square metre) including a wing back chair and sofa. Both bedrooms are fashioned with rich Canadian made, all wood, shaker style furnishings stained in dark navy blue reflecting the beautiful hues of the Annapolis Basin that borders the front gardens at the Bailey House. Your deep slumber is assured on luxurious, deep pillow topped hotel quality queen size bed when you nestle into high thread count linens and cozy duvets.
The main floor sitting area is graced with large, comfortable arm chairs and ottomans, condusive for reading or quiet conversation. The entire space is finished with warm cork flooring.
The four piece bathroom is grand! It is a large room with a spacious shower finished in ceramics and mosaic glass tiles. The modern vanity is fashioned with a vessel basin and stylishly set against all tiled flooring. The claw foot tub rounds out this handsome room.
The entire colourful suite is well fenestrated. The crisp Plantation shutters permit you the luxury of just the right amount of light and privacy of your choosing.
The rate for this private, Coach House varies depending on the number of people enjoying the space. Please inquire about the rate which includes on-site parking and a hardy, full breakfast.

It is our pleasure to offer you YEAR ROUND accommodation.
All rates are based on single or double occupancy. If additional people are included, an additional fee will be levied and discussed upon reserving your stay. The room rate includes a hot, full-course breakfast. (Special dietary needs are accommodated, gladly with advanced notice.)
Check in after 4:00 pm with a check out by 10:30 am. (Arrangements for late check in or early departure are gladly accommodated upon request.)
Secure indoor storage for luggage or outdoor equipment – golf clubs, bicycles, kayaks – can be accommodated during your stay.
There is no cancellation charge if we are notified seventy-two (72) hours prior to your arrival date. Otherwise we will charge you for one night’s accommodation. (If, however, we are able to re-book the room upon late notice of cancellation, we will with pleasure, waive the cancellation charge.)
All rates are expressed in Canadian funds and are subject to a 15% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax of 5% GST and 10% Provincial Sales Tax.)
